Parent Weekend

During my parent weekend I stayed with my Mum, Dad, Matt Faull, Randal Faul and Die Faul. I stayed at Marion bay in a house which included a pool table, table soccer and table tennis. On Saturday we went to Innes national park for sight seeing but I have already seen most of the stuff there. We mostly did table tennis, pool or table soccer for the rest of the parent weekend. On Saturday night we also went to the Marion bay pub to eat with 10 other families and to watch the important Crows vs Collingwood match which Crows unfortunately lost. I was pretty excited seeing my parents but the wait was really nerve racking as I was one of the last people to go. I was looking forward to spending some quality time with my parents and to talk to them about my experience at Point Turton. I wasn't badly home sick but I really wanted to see my parents so it was pretty good to see them after 3 weeks. I now really understand how much Mum does at home to help clean everything up and doing the clothes, dishes and cleaning. I also understand how much my Dad works to support my whole family. With out them our family would not function properly. I love how they always car for me even though they get angry at me alot. I also love that they would do anything to protect me. My Mum always makes me laugh and just talking to her always gives me comfort and lets me relax. My Dad is probably a pretty tough man but I love him becuase he can share a laugh and he plays pool with me which is always a good competition. I am looking forward to all the surfing and the fun week coming up but especially looking forward to going back home to see my parents, grandparents and my brothers.

  1. we had a great time at Marian Bay and it was really good to see Arata even though the Dads lost the the pool contest after some lucky shots by Arata and Matt! we had to rush back on Sunday to athelstone to see Adam's grand final. Walkerville demolished Payneham and won the trophy. Adam got the most improved player award. Arata was in good shape and seems to be handling the camp very well.Even so we are looking to having him back at home. Big A
